Q: How do I report errors for a product's nutrition information or submit a new product to be added?

A: Nutritionix is unique in that our database is verified - we source all of our nutrition information from the food manufacturers and restaurant brands directly. 

To add a product that is not recognized by the barcode scanner, is not found using the search bar in the Grocery tab, or whose nutrition information needs updating, please send product images to the Nutritionix team at support@nutritionix.com

Our data quality team requests the following pieces of information for each product submitted:

1. Barcode/UPC code

2. Nutrition Label 

3. Front of Package
